Collection in Color is inspired by moments that made/make my heart smile. This particular one is from one of my favorite photos. In 2018, I lead a bike tour across America and met the kindest human at the Pie-O-Neer, a pie shop in Pie Town, New Mexico. I’ll never forget the pink outfit that she put together because it made her happy that day or that she rings a bell in her shop whenever someone takes a bite of pie and says, “I’m so happy right now.” A reminder to fall deeply in love with the little intricate moments around you.
 
Why do I make these? I consistently found myself drawing these small faces whenever I hit a creative block. They are utterly freeing, and urge you to give it a shot. Release your inhibitions and follow your hand instead of your mind.
